"Busy, But Good” is an award-winning Instagram micro-doc series following artists, creators, and entrepreneurs forging careers on their own terms. After shadowing each subject through a typical workweek, the series asks what drives them and what they'd tell anyone wanting to do it their way.
I refined the story edit for each episode, wrote all captions, and produced a behind-the-scenes video documenting the making of the series. With subjects ranging from a vintage workwear curator and analog photographer to a chef preserving her Thai heritage through small-batch chili jam, the copy had to honor each person's individuality without flattening them into a type. The series won Best Reel at the Sandy International Festival in 2024 and has been nominated for Best Editing and Best Cinematography at the Midwest Film Festival in 2025. It has also garnered over 47k views on Instagram
